Hebrew Letter and Symbol (2012 – 2018)

The Hebrew letter shin plays a primary role in many of the Rete-Chromes in this section, as a symbol of our relationship with the divine. It holds particular significance as the first letter in Schema, the most sacred Hebrew prayer; in Shalom, the word for Peace; in Shabbat, Sabbath; in Shadai, the Almighty; and in Shechena, the female aspect of the Divine. The menorah, an ancient and contemporary Jewish symbol, can also be seen in many of these Rete-Chromes, as another representation of the human/divine connection.
